Reducing acid in your diet is believed to generally help your overall health, immune system, energy levels and many more benefits. Many holistic practitioners believe reducing acid in your diet may also reduce disease. The following information includes a list of foods to help you balance out your food selections. Your total intake for the day should not be more than 20% acid forming foods and 80% from the neutral or alkaline list.
